Terms and Conditions
1. Agreement and Application
By accessing our website or placing an order with Smokehouse Soiree by The Smokehouse Collective Pte Ltd (“Smokehouse Soiree,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern all purchases, deliveries, chef services, and use of our website.
2. Orders, Payment, and Cancellations
2.1 Order Confirmation
Your order is confirmed once payment is received and acknowledged by us. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any order at our sole discretion without explanation.
2.2 Payment Terms
Full payment must be made at least 48 hours before the event or delivery date via PayNow to UEN 202430028K (The Smokehouse Collective Pte Ltd) or our website. Orders with chef services require full payment at the time of booking.
2.3 Cancellations by Customer
Orders may be rescheduled at least 72 hours in advance, subject to availability.
Cancellations made with more than 3 days notice of the scheduled event will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds are provided for cancellations made with less than 3 days notice.
2.4 Cancellations by Smokehouse Soiree
We may cancel any order due to unavailability, pricing or description errors, or unforeseen circumstances. If cancellation occurs on our end, a full refund will be issued unless caused by your breach of terms.
2.5 Chef Service Cancellations
Chef bookings must be cancelled at least 4 days in advance; cancellations within 96 hours of the event will be charged in full. If a chef is unavailable due to illness or emergency, we will attempt to assign a replacement or issue a full refund for the chef service portion.
3. Customer Responsibilities
3.1 Accurate Information
You must provide accurate and complete information when placing an order. We are not responsible for any delay or delivery failure resulting from incorrect details such as address or contact number.
3.2 Food Handling and Allergies
Please exercise caution if you or your guests have food allergies. While we take care in preparing food, we do not guarantee that it is allergen-free. You are responsible for ensuring the safe consumption and handling of all food items.
3.3 Safe Food Practices
Customers should follow standard food-handling guidelines — keep food covered, avoid re-freezing thawed food, cook thoroughly, and wash utensils before use. We are not liable for issues resulting from improper storage or handling after delivery.
3.4 Trash Disposal
Smokehouse Soiree does not provide trash disposal services. Customers are responsible for proper waste disposal and cleanup after the event.
4. Delivery Terms
4.1 Delivery Schedule
Delivery windows are available in 1-hour or 2.5-hour slots between 10am and 8pm. Self-pickup is also available.
4.2 Delivery Conditions
If another person receives your order, they act as your authorized agent. You are deemed to have received the order once the delivery note is signed or accepted.
4.3 Waiting and Absence Policy
Customers or their representatives must be present throughout the delivery window. If no one is available, waiting charges of $20 per 30 minutes apply. Failed deliveries due to absence are non-refundable.
4.4 Remote Locations
Additional delivery charges apply:
- $10 for Sentosa, Tuas, and Marina Bay Cruise Centre

$25–40 for remote or restricted access areas (e.g. Neo Tiew, Lim Chu Kang, NSRCC).
4.5 Inspection
Inspect your order immediately upon receipt. Any issues (missing, damaged, incorrect, or spoiled items) must be reported within 30 minutes via WhatsApp at 87723067.
5. Chef Service Terms
5.1. Nature of Service
Chefs are engaged solely to cook and are not responsible for serving food, cleaning, coordinating events, or managing guests. They will cook based on fire and pit conditions and may not take instructions on cooking sequence from customers.
Please allow chefs to work independently — interference may affect cooking results, for which Smokehouse Soiree will not be held liable.
5.2. Tools and Equipment
For customers engaging standalone chef services (without Smokehouse Soiree food packages or add-ons), it is the customer’s responsibility to:
- Provide all necessary cooking tools and equipment, including BBQ tongs, brush, charcoal, fire starters, lighter, butter, and a functioning BBQ pit.
- Ensure that all required items are available and ready before the chef’s arrival.
If setup materials or tools are missing, delays caused are not compensable, and service time will not be extended.
Setup of the BBQ pit (especially charcoal-based pits) is included within the allocated service duration.
5.3. Cooking Duration
Chef service covers up to 3 hours or until all Smokehouse Soiree-provided food is cooked, whichever comes first.
Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee all food will be cooked within the allocated duration due to varying fire strength, weather, and pit conditions.
If the chef is available to extend service beyond the agreed time, additional hours will be charged at the prevailing rates listed on our website.
5.4. Weather and Conditions
In the event of heavy rain or adverse weather, chefs will make all reasonable efforts to continue cooking safely to the best of their ability. However, we cannot guarantee full completion of cooking under such conditions.
Please note that no refunds will be issued for incomplete cooking or delays caused by weather-related challenges.
5.5. Chef-to-Guest Ratio
Each chef can cook for approximately 25 guests over a 3-hour period.
For larger groups or extensive menus, we strongly recommend booking additional chefs to ensure smooth service and timely preparation.
5.6. Sickness or Emergency Leave
In the unlikely event that a chef is unable to attend due to illness, accident, or personal emergency, Smokehouse Soiree will make every reasonable effort to assign a replacement.
If a replacement is unavailable, customers may choose to reschedule the event or receive a full refund of the chef service portion.
Smokehouse Soiree will not be liable for further compensation or consequential losses.
5.7. Independent Contractors and Indemnity
All chefs and assistants engaged through Smokehouse Soiree are independent freelance contractors, not employees of The Smokehouse Collective Pte Ltd.
These individuals are solely responsible for their conduct, including any negligence, omissions, or intentional acts during service.
Accordingly, Smokehouse Soiree shall not be held liable for the actions or omissions of these contractors.
The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Smokehouse Soiree from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from or related to the event, including incidents that occur during food preparation, cooking, or service.
6. Product Issues and Refunds
If any item is spoiled, missing, or incorrect, contact us immediately via WhatsApp 87723067.
We may request inspection or return of items. At our discretion, we may:
- Replace the affected items
- Refund an appropriate portion of the payment
- Offer another suitable remedy
No refunds are provided for issues reported after 30 minutes of delivery or caused by improper handling or storage.
7. Frozen Delivery, Thawing & Cooking
7.1 Frozen Delivery
All food supplied by Smokehouse Soiree is delivered frozen or partially frozen to maintain product freshness, prevent contamination, and comply with the Singapore Food Agency’s (SFA) food-safety standards. This includes marinated meats, seafood, and ready-to-eat dishes.
7.2 Customer Responsibility for Thawing & Handling
Upon delivery, the customer assumes full responsibility for:
- Proper thawing
- Safe storage
- Timely cooking
- Handling of all food items
Guidelines provided by Smokehouse Soiree are advisory only. Customers must ensure food is kept within safe temperatures and cooked thoroughly.
7.3 Thawing & Cooking Guidelines (Advisory Only)
Customers may thaw products using:
- Refrigeration (0–4 °C) for gradual thawing,
- Cold-water submersion for up to 2 hours, or
- Immediate cooking from frozen, where appropriate.
Certain products (e.g., steaks, lamb, premium seafood) are best thawed for optimal cooking. Cooking from frozen may lengthen cooking time and affect texture.
7.4 No Re-Freezing
Once thawed, food must not be refrozen. All thawed items must be cooked and consumed promptly.
7.5 Disclaimer of Liability
Smokehouse Soiree shall not be held responsible for any spoilage, contamination, illness, or quality issues arising from:
- Incorrect thawing
- Prolonged exposure to room temperature
- Mishandling after delivery
- Improper storage or refreezing
- Under-cooking or unsafe cooking practices
All food-safety responsibilities transfer to the customer immediately upon successful delivery.
8. Tardiness Policy
If our chef arrives late, the service time will be extended by the same duration if possible. If not, a pro-rated refund will be issued based on the time missed.
9. Risk and Ownership
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery or collection. Ownership transfers once full payment has been made.
10. Use of Website
All materials (text, images, logos, design) on our website are owned by Smokehouse Soiree unless stated otherwise. You may not copy or use them for commercial purposes without written consent.
Our website is provided “as is.” We make no guarantees about accuracy or availability and are not liable for any errors or interruptions.
All product images are for illustration purposes only — actual items may vary slightly in appearance, serving size, or packaging.
11. Liability and Indemnity
Our products and services are provided with reasonable care and quality.
We use third-party delivery partners and are not responsible for their independent actions.
Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed 1.5 times the price of the
product/service or S$100, whichever is higher.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or punitive damages.
You agree to indemnify Smokehouse Soiree, its directors, and affiliates against any claims, losses, or damages resulting from your breach of these terms.
Third-Party Food Providers
All food and beverage items offered by Smokehouse Soiree are sourced from licensed third-party food manufacturers, caterers, or suppliers.
Smokehouse Soiree does not cook, prepare, or manufacture any food products
directly.
While we take care to partner with trusted providers, all food preparation, storage, and handling processes are managed entirely by these third-party suppliers.
Smokehouse Soiree shall not be held liable for any claims, damages, or losses arising from the preparation, ingredients, storage, or quality of food supplied by such providers.
For transparency and accountability, the details of these third-party providers are printed on the respective food packaging or labels accompanying your order.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to our website or services at our sole discretion if you breach any term or for any reason we deem appropriate.
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, flood, government actions, strikes, or transport disruptions.
14. General Provisions
- Waiver: Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative.
- Severability: If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses remain effective.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and Smokehouse Soiree and supersede all prior communications.
- Revisions: We may update these Terms at any time on our website. Continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of the latest version.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by Singapore law, and disputes shall be resolved in the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
