Our BBQ chef service covers the grill from start to finish. Your chef manages the charcoal, heat, and cook times — so food comes off the grill progressively and your guests are fed without you having to leave the party. Both our Classic and Signature tiers are available with or without food purchased from us.

Can I hire BBQ chefs for a private event in Singapore?

Yes — our BBQ chefs for hire in Singapore are available for private gatherings of all sizes, from intimate family BBQs to large corporate functions. Simply let us know your event details, and we'll handle the rest.

What’s the difference between the Classic and Signature BBQ chef service?

The Classic BBQ Chef Service starts from $155 for a 3-hour service and provides skilled, reliable grill support for your event.

The Signature BBQ Chef Service is our upgraded BBQ private chef option, starting from $250 for a 3.5-hour service. Our Signature chefs bring 5+ years of experience, arrive in full chef uniform, and come equipped with essential tools — ideal for events where the experience at the grill truly matters.

Note that fire-starting gear is not included.

Do I need to buy food from The Smokehouse Collective to use the chef service?

Not at all. Both our Classic and Signature BBQ chef services are available with or without food purchased from us. If you'd like to source your own ingredients, our chef will work with what you provide. Alternatively, explore our BBQ food packages for a fully hassle-free experience.

Do you provide BBQ chef services for corporate events in Singapore?

While our BBQ chef service can accommodate smaller corporate gatherings, it is generally better suited for casual and private events. For corporate functions, we recommend our BBQ Live Station — a more formal, interactive chef-led setup that’s built for professional settings and larger crowds. How many guests can one BBQ chef handle?

As a general guideline, we recommend 1 chef per 20 guests for a smooth 3-hour service. For larger events, additional chefs can be arranged to ensure consistent service throughout your gathering.

What equipment do I need to provide for the chef?

Our chefs work with the BBQ pit at your venue. If you haven’t purchased our BBQ kit, please prepare: charcoal, fire starters, a lighter, butter, BBQ tongs, a brush, and aluminium trays.

What happens if it rains?

Our chefs will continue grilling under sheltered conditions where it is safe to do so. Completion of the service may be affected by severe weather; refunds are not issued for weather interruptions.

 Is the BBQ chef service available islandwide in Singapore?

Yes — our BBQ chef service is available islandwide across Singapore, including condos, landed properties, and event venues. For remote locations such as Sentosa Island or Pulau Ubin, an additional fee of $20 applies.
